International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia
Join your community for a celebration to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia this Friday, 7:00 pm at the Pride Centre. We will have a short and festive march to an area where we can create chalk rainbows for 30 minutes (chalk will be provided), followed by a reception with cake and refreshments at the centre. Guest speakers will include Ian MacKinnon from 99.9 SunFM and Loyal Wooldridge from Loyal Hair Therapy. Please note we were going to have a balloon release however due to environmental and wildlife protection we will not be doing this. We will still have balloons; we just won’t be releasing them. So get your queerest and dearest friends & loved one’s (and their queerest and dearest friends & loved ones!) and your pink feather boas, fishnet stockings, YMCA costumes, rainbow wigs, Freddie Mercury moustaches & rubber suits (if you have them!) and get yourselves down to the Pride Centre this Friday!
